Using technology as a tool … because clients, investors and borrowers rate first
From development and implementation of its proprietary reverse servicing software, ReverServ™ in 2004, Celink has unfailingly met the growing needs of an ever-expanding client base in a dynamic industry.
Yet, for all its investment in reverse mortgage servicing software development and technology … for all its innovation and initiative … and for all the upgrades and evolutions the IT world continues to deliver to Celink’s doorstep and to the world at-large … there remains to this day a clear and clearly-important distinction that sets Celink apart from its peers. Celink is a client-, investor-, and borrower-focused reverse mortgage servicer that recognizes and appreciates information technology for what it is and for what it is not.
As Celink entered the market, the company demonstrated its technological capacity by employing Access as the foundation of ReverServ™ -- exceeding even IT industry experts’ expectations for the platform’s functional capabilities and performance. Throughout, Celink kept as the focus of its reverse mortgage servicing philosophy … service, the foundation of a proven successful business model.
With a growing client base and increasing demands, along with projected market growth as the front end of the Baby Boomer generation has just begun its retirement years, Celink, in April 2007 migrated its back-end database to an IBM DB II database environment. The move further solidifies its positioning capabilities for clients’ future requirements. The migration occurred successfully and transparently, without disruption. And the next evolution was on the horizon.
In early 2008, the front-end of ReverServ™ completed its migration to a Java (J2EE) web-based interface using IBM rational tools for reporting. The result? A web-based servicing platform that provides for:
- Ease of customization to clients’ requirements and reporting needs.
- Automated execution of user functions.
- Web touch and feel.
- Added functionality to interfaces.
- Ease of new private-label product additions.
- Data compression, reduced storage requirements and back-up times.
- A proven platform that provides for future development flexibility.
- A robust, and leading-edge business application.
Future “generations” hold promise of delivering even greater functionality, service and servicing options:- Industry-recognized security capabilities inherent in Java technologies.
- Remote access to loan level information via the Internet.
- Web-based report generation tools for client access to ad hoc custom reports.
- Potential addition of borrower-specific reverse mortgage account access.
Most important? Clients, investors and borrowers can only expect an enhanced borrower care experience … nothing less but, rather, even more.
